Lac d’Aiguebelette - Savoie

A more “wild” lake than that of Lac du Bourget, Lac d'Aiguebelette is a very popular swimming spot in the summer. Quiet, on this lake, only electric boats are authorized. To get there: 30 minutes by car. -
La Dent du Chat

A hike which offers an exceptional panorama of the lake and the Savoyard front country. Allow 4h30 round trip for 7km and a difficult difficulty. -

More of a stroll than a hike, this walk runs along Lac du Bourget to the Pointe de l’Ardre. Allow 1 hour for 2.6km round trip, very easy level.

50m from the hotel, on the Grand Port, the Compagnie des Bateaux offers different types of guided cruises, which may include a visit to Hautecombe Abbey and Chanaz, the Venice of the Alps. -
Le Molard Noir

After a walk in the forest, arriving at Molard Noir offers you a 360° view of the lake and the Savoyard front country. Allow 1 hour round trip and a little less than 3km. A path allows the bravest to access the cat’s tooth. -

In September, for a weekend, Aix-les-Bains offers to discover some practices around the theme of well-being. Conferences, sports sessions, culinary or meditation workshops, etc. are offered. -
Chambéry - Savoie

A city with the Castle of the Dukes of Savoy in its historic center, pedestrian walkways, fountains and buildings recalling the Italian spirit. To get there: train, bus, 20 minutes by car. -
Walk along the shores of Lac du Bourget

If you like walking, a large part of the lakefront is pedestrianized. From Mémard beach to the Mottets site, put on your sneakers, get on your bikes, your rollerblades and enjoy a stroll along the water's edge. -
The Abbaye of Hautecombe

With its feet in Lac du Bourget, Hautecombe Abbey still houses religious people today. You can visit the church to discover its history and those of the personalities who passed there, in a magnificent setting. -

This is the route that will offer you the most beautiful view of the lake: the Cornillon Via Ferrata. Departure from the Col du Chat, an easy difficulty, but be careful of vertigo. -

Offers visibility over the entire Lac du Bourget, 18km long. A restaurant with panoramic views can welcome you (reservation recommended). -
Mont Revard

Highest peak around Lac du Bourget (1562m) it is 30 minutes by car from the hotel. Access to a footbridge with panoramic views of Aix-les-Bains and its surroundings, and various activities. -
The Sierroz Gorges

This arranged walk offers you very easy access, with passages on footbridges. Around 1 hour from the Grésy-sur-Aix carpool parking lot. -

The little train of Aix-les-Bains

Departing from Aix-les-Bains town hall or the large port, the little train will take you through the town accompanied by comments relating to its history. Available from April to early November. -
Chanaz, the little Venice of the Alps

Near the Savière canal which connects Lac du Bourget and the Rhône. A town full of charm with its pedestrian streets, its various small shops and its oil mill. You can also walk by the water or on the water. -
La Croix du Nivolet

On the heights above Chambéry, a cross several meters high dominates at 1547m. Two routes offered, loop or round trip, for 3 to 5 hours and medium to difficult difficulty. -
